The Veteran Sharpshooter remains the backbone of any Damnation-tier team in Darktide. Here’s the optimized build for patch 18.

Weapon Setup:

1. Primary: Kantrael MG XII Infantry Lasgun — full damage + crit chance blessings
2. Secondary: Catachan Devil’s Claw — bruiser clear with parry
3. Grenade: Shredder Frag — wave clear and armor strip

Keystone: Shock Trooper — every weakspot hit refunds ammo. With the Kantrael, this means infinite ammo as long as you hit heads.

Curios: 3x Health (21% each) + Toughness Regen on kill. You don’t need stamina as a Vet if you position correctly.

Playstyle: Stay 10-15m behind the frontline. Prioritize gunners, trappers, and bombers. Let the Zealot and Ogryn handle horde clear — your job is deleting specials before they reach the team.
